Hi there, the blog that you are reading has been made for my English
Grade 12 class, it is an Independent Study Unit (ISU). It is going to be
concerning a specific theme that I have picked which is, The Power of
Unconditional Love in The Great Gatsby.
The blog will contain several images and videos, along with poems from
different sources not only to illustrate my understanding of this theme,
but to help people come to the realization of how universal themes are
in literature and how they can apply in our every day life.
The blog was part of many options that were available in order to do this ISU. An essay based on literary theory, options to make websites or powerpoints were also available. The reason I picked the topic of doing a "Blog" was because I have never done something like this before so it is a good learning process and something new that I have been and am very excited about.
Hopefully, you like this blog and find it enjoyable to read about my interpretations of the selected theme through using images, text, videos, and poems, etc.
